An attractive Teal Type 35 boat-tail with a six-cylinder engine at a car show; but which car show? When?  Do you recognise that number plate and the blue wires?

 

 

Later comment:  Detective Inspector Andy Dutton, our Teal Owners’ Club Secretary,  has discovered a 22-year old  article in Kit Car International (November 1991) about ‘exceptionally well built’ Teal JYH 883K, then owned by Chris Batty and one of the first Teal Type 35s to be fitted with the Triumph  6C/2500 cc engine (also fitted by Andy to his glorious Teal in 1993 -see TOW No 3); the article  includes reference to David Ward’s unique 6C/1600 supercharged Teal, TOW No 21.  Here’s part of the story:
